Whether your service area encompasses tens of thousands of metering points or a million, every project has to go through similar phases of project management, technical specifications, training, organizing clean-up and testing. Working with customers of all sizes, in various markets, with different needs and requirements, Landis+Gyr has gained unique insights and competencies to support smart meter rollouts.Key Areas:Landis+Gyr’s Global Development Center (GDC), a global inhouse competency center in Noida, India. The GDC plays an important role within Landis+Gyr's digitalization journey. Last Assignment:- Worked in Smart metering and smart grid solutions, one of the largest smart metering contracts yet awarded in India, with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL). Encompassing 200,000 single phase and three phase smart meters, the project is a follow up to the contract for India’s first Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) with Radio Frequency (RF) Canopy, comprising 500,000 endpoints, - Testing of Wireless Communication for Low Power Radio Frequency (865-868Mhz) for West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.Decarbonisation, decentralisation and digitalisation are profoundly transforming the energy system and consumer behaviour around energy management and control.Key Areas:Primary role is to develop Architectural Design solution and provide expertise to Projects. Involved in complete Product development life cycle and SDLC. Properly estimating the Tender and Supply technical artefacts releases. Prepared implementation plans for Production Deployments, coordinated with Firmware and Hardware development teams as per project requirement and provide Customer centric solutions. Handled the Performance Testing before delivery to Customer. Focused on timely, efficient delivery of high-quality Products and Software to our Customers.

During this internship in Fitting out Jetty ( FOJ ) and in Electronics and Weapons departments, my primary work was to understand how Indian Warships are built and what are the various machines and heavy duty electronics like RADARS, SONAR, ANTENNAS, ISMS, Electronically Guided Missile that are installed with huge generators and powers in INS KILTAN ( Anti Submarine Warfare Corvettes ). Then to create a customs report with detailed description of various communication systems and various parts of warships, and their uses and when they have to be installed. This helped me to understand how work happens in PSU's and what are the use of electronics in the service of Indian Navy and how they are helpful.
