The role also involves interaction with senior management, site visits, presentations to the rating committee and publishing press releases, credit perspectives & sector notes.- Analyzed & rated over 15 power generation companies with diverse models - long term PPA, merchant sale, group captive - having cumulative capacity in excess of 13000 MW– in both non-renewable (coal, gas & liquid fuel based) & renewable (mini hydel, biomass based & windmill) space-Analyzed the electricity regulatory structure of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Chattisgarh and Maharashtra; Rated state generation utilities of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh having over 5000 MW capacity each-Evaluated the electricity distribution landscape in the state of Karnataka through comparative analysis of discoms‟ operational and financial profile; also analyzed their tariff adequacy & subsidy dependence on state government-Analyzed leading real estate companies having portfolio of residential, commercial & retail assets of over 30 mn sft-Exposure to some niche business segments like telecom equipments, railway signaling equipment besides textiles, agro processing, metal works and refractory. Analyzed the business model of over 43 companies in a variety of sectors

- Worked on USD 500mn Debt Issuance for an Indonesian Client in Mining Sector ( April 15th to May 26th 2008) ­ - Performed due diligence & prepared Information Memo & Investor Pitch covering business model, financials, assets description, transaction structure & critical risks; Prepared Sales memo & handled investors’ queries­ - Improved the valuation model - included cost inflation factor and removed errors - resulting in 10% change- Indonesian Govt.
