General Manager - High Performance
CurrentWith over thirteen years of experience in the sport, starting with the Commonwealth Games in the year 2010, my current responsibilities as the General Manager for High-Performance, Rugby India include: A two-pronged approach that facilitates the development of technical officials across the country through routine standardized training and development programs that are run centrally by the union, and the overall administration of the High-Performance Indian National Team • Training and Development for all national technical officials:- Creating pathways for referees, coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, and medical staff- Implementation of strategies to disseminate technical officials across the country- Provide opportunities for growth and maintain quality control - Facilitate World Rugby and Rugby India courses for their development • High-Performance (Indian National Team):A 360-degree approach to provide a conducive environment for the national team contingent, which includes:- Player renumeration- Player facilities (Operations at the National High-Performance centres) - Physiological (Sport Science) and psychological assessments (For both coaches and players) - Nutrition for players (Both on and off season)- Development of CPD programs for players through exposure tours and exchange programs - Training and Development for all national technical officials:- Creating pathways for referees, coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, and medical staff- Implementation of strategies to disseminate technical officials across the country- Provide opportunities for growth and maintain quality control - Facilitate World Rugby and Rugby India courses for their development
