Member Services Manager
CurrentServe as the Member Services Manager for the Minuteman Library Network, a consortium of 41 public and academic libraries using Innovative Interfaces as the integrated library system (ILS).• Responsible for the implementation and support of Minuteman Library Network’s services• Assume responsibility of the Executive Director in the absence of the Director• Supervise the 8-member professional staff of the Member Services Department• Provide technical support and training to member libraries• Serve on the Management Team regarding strategic planning for the organization• Assess current services and recommend changes for improvement• Collaborate with Systems Department in overseeing all ILS and resource sharing applications• Partner with the Systems Department in testing and evaluating new iterations of the ILS applications, as well as new software and services relevant to the Network• Supervise the production, collection and dissemination of member library reports and statistics• Oversee the building, quality control and ongoing maintenance of the Network’s bibliographic database including print, non-print, digital and non-traditional library materials • Liaise between software vendors, the Network and libraries and advocate for services • Actively participate in committees to foster communication between libraries and the Network in order to improve service, adjust policies, develop initiatives or identify new services and technologies
