Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the CSSB lab, Division of Biosciences at University College London (UCL), delving into the fascinating realm of spatial computation within synthetically engineered microbial populations.Research Focus:My current research is centered on unraveling spatial computation mechanisms, incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as artificial neural networks, machine learning, and mathematical modeling techniques. By exploring the interplay between these disciplines, I aim to shed light on the intricacies of synthetic biology and advance our understanding of microbial systems. I did my PhD in Theoretical Biology from the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, India under the guidance of Prof. Debashis Barik, I investigated the roles of diverse functional motifs and chemical noise in biological reaction networks, employing sophisticated mathematical modeling tools.
