Postdoctoral Research AssociateInstitut Charles Sadron, Université De Strasbourg May 2012 - May 2014Strasbourg Area, FranceI worked in the research group of Professor Dr. Gero Decher at University of Strasbourg, France as a postdoctoral fellow until April 2014. During this time period, I worked in the frame of an industry- funded project regarding development of artificial separation membranes via functional coating. The project dealt with prevention of leaching of a water-soluble component from a synthetic dialyzer membrane by layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly for sustainable biocompatibility. I had also been involved in another industrial project where I established a correlation between growth behavior of thin films on model surfaces and membrane support materials for better understanding of the layer growth of the latter. In addition, I also developed new idea and established a strategy for easy detachment of cell sheets based on LbL-modified films.
