Worked as trainee support on the assignment 'Comprehensive Mobility Plan for Ajmer - Pushkar' funded under JNNURM as a part of masters training program. Worked for Prof. H M Shivnand Swamy on a city supported project called ‘Ahmedabad Bus Rapid Transit system’. A project which when conceived was the first of its kind in the country. I was involved during the conception and research stage, a very exciting phase of the project, where we were involved in the exercises of - Critically evaluating implemented projects worldwide, Understanding and selecting bus technology, Route Selection, City wide Origin & Destination surveys, Traffic Surveys, Preparation of regular Detailed Project Reports, Interacting with existing city bus service department and a number of other basic surveys. The project now is a tremendous success and has received international acclamation.Responsibilities Included• Household survey for 6000 samples in all regions of Ahmedabad required for O-D Analysis and others• Co ordination with LASA on Route section Design• Parking Survey around the route of Ahmedabad BRT• Traffic and Accident Data analysis on BRT route• Prepartion of Reports, Workshops and Presentations on Ahmedabad BRT

As a part of graduate on-field training program for 6 months. Worked as a trainee on Makhanpur (NH2) Road development project (4 Laneing and Strengthening of road) under NHDP Phase I (Golden Quadrilateral) a stretch of 50 kms. Was included in construction of foundation, substructure and super structure of a flyover, culverts, retaining walls and other related structures. Worked as support to existing project engineers deployed on site.
