The measurement data comes to the portal from various sources. Scripts written in perl and php, processes and aggregates the data. The portal displays the statistics is by using graphs and charts. The portal also has user management, data load process check and other administrative capabilities.My role as a senior developer was to requirement analysis, plan and perform the coding, enhancements to legacy code and release management. The enhancements also involve migration from MySQL to DB2. I worked with a team in India as well as in Denmark and mainly worked in graphs and administration modules. I also designed and implemented the user module. Currently the enhancements in loading and clean up modules are in process. Inspectors login to their account and manager various components of his account including rates for various inspection types. The system will build an automated quote from this. I developed a shopping cart using classic ASP. The online payment is done through PayPal.
