Fault analysis. Protective relay monitoring.  Load forecasting.• Coal Handling Plant Engineer: Inspection of ancillary equipment like Paddle Feeder, Pneumatic flap Gates, Conveyor Belt, Roller Screen, Crusher, Stacker cum Reclaimer, ILMS, Metal Detector, Travelling Tripper, Coal Sampling System etc. Trouble shooting & co-ordination between mechanical and electrical maintenance department regarding type of trouble. Maintains healthy coal bunker level for uninterrupted power generation and maintains shift log.• Central Control Room Engineer: Be responsible for 2 X 300MW coal fired units to run safely and efficiently. Performs equipment start up and shutdown as per company’s standard operating procedures and checklists. Respond to alarms and malfunctions of plant operations and take the necessary corrective measures. Start up and shut down of Auxiliary Boiler. Maintain shift operating logs and records. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to correct the cause of any operational abnormality or problem. Monitor bulk chemical and compressed gas deliveries. Support mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting as required.
