Responsible for Managing the overall Sales portfolio of the Organisation including ,core product of Foreign Exchange & Money Transfer business ( IMT & DMT) in addition to cross sell of select products through the existing distribution network .

Responsible for leading the foreign exchange sales with the clear mandate to scale up revenue generations from the existing stream of business and intiate strategic strikes to optimize business developement across products.

Moved to South in the behest of the organisation ( south zone comprised of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu,Karnataka,Kerala & Goa) based out of Bangalore effective 1st Jan 2011 with a renewed vision to increase the retail foot print of distribution network & to enhance the market share across the zone with key focus on TN & Kerala ,incidentally the two most prominent corridor s in remittance business(WUMTS ) on a cash to cash segment. Job responsibilities included handling of portfolios of MTS network, Gold coin sales through India post network (South being traditionally the highest gold consuming region had 500 PO’s empanelled to sell gold ) in addition to the successful roll out of Reliance Money Gold Accumulation plan & various investment products as well. Mentored one of the largest sales force for the organisation in various roles well spread across geographies where market shares and market penetration benchmarks speaks for itself.

Moved to East in the behest of the organisation with a clear mandate to get the zone back and strong on the road map of business profitability , to ramp up retail footprints ranging from tier I to tier III cities ideally to set up a self sustaining distribution network consiting of mid and large sized franchisees capable of selling mutlitple financial products.Products ranged from retail forex products ,export of currencies , International Money Transfer (as a principle partner of WU) ,bullion sales through the India Post network ,selling of Life Insurance and General Insurance Policies.Key responsibilities engulfed pushing sales for FFMC business through dealers in the markets ,aggressive sales campaign in retail segment and sales through appointed Money transfer service (MTS) network in rural market as well as city market for garnering maximum no of transactions and set them up for cross sellling of other financial products.

Reliance Money Express is a Reliance Capital Company under ADA Group which deals inretail foreign exchange business, Inbound Money Transfer Service, Bullion Sales & crosssales of Insurance products.Initiated the entire Foreign Exchange & MTSS business set up in North India (covering states of Delhi,Punjab,Uttar Pradesh ,HP and J&K) post Reliance Capital acquiring Travel Mate Services to forray into this space.Recruitment,potential mapping,identifying of key markets and then setting them up was key role keeping in line with the organizational requirement of rapid growth.

Responsible for rolling of prepaid cards in the tech savy markets of Bangalore & Mysore & identified IT parks in Trivandrum and Cochin through the bank branches ,channel partners (FFMCs) and through corporate acquisitions. Primary product on the prepaid platform consisted of the forex plus cards which witnessed major transition of volume from the paper products like travelers cheques for people travelling abroad . The entire road map to increase the business portfolio included acquisition of new corporate ,attracting the much required mind share of the critical fucntions of tghe bank to promote the products to their segment of customers as well branch teams, CSRMs,Corporate banking team & other internal functions.This was a turn around histroy as this product was pioneered at this tenure and in the most critical city till date which has spear headed the success of the product even today .

The product of retail foreign exchange was launched in I Bank under RLPG with a very clear mandate to become the market leader in this space. This was a a critical role with anchorage and help 8 "A" category branches to lead in booking income through foreign excnahge sales to the both internal and external customers. The very concept of appointing "service provider" for the bank to route forex services for non I Bank customers was pioneered at this point in time which later on became a familiar concept across various other financial institutions. In addition to the foreign exchange piece retailing of gold coin and precious metal became product addition thus increasing the overall portfolio managed for the Organization . - Job responsibilities included Interaction and close synergy with the corporate banking team, NRI banking, SEG &other internal teams provided inroads to major corporate for business association inthe sales of travel related forex products.- Rolled the launch of ICICI BANK Travel cards in its earlier days through existingcorporate and with an intension of replacing paper instruments with reloadableprepaid travel cards especially for travelers with a longer duration of stay abroad.- Pioneered the distribution of bullion products (gold coins) through corporate giftingand dealers incentive promotions along with monitoring of branch sales during thefestive season of Dhanterras, Akshaya Trithia

Cox & Kings a leading name in Travel and Foreign Exchange Services since 1853 .Job Responsibilities in C&K was purely a front end role to increase the top line numbers primarily through corporate sales, new acquisation and ERV.Initiatives in line with the job role helped driving major corporate acquisations ,leisure travel groups with considerable volume of business leading the branch doing a turn around .

A pioneering entity which conceptualised the star cruise tours overseas in addition to the regular features of leisure and corporate travel.The overall exposure in Gainwell covered the entire arena of Foreign Exchange business engulfing the core business of forex issueance to people travelling abroad,Telegraphic Transfers to overseas counter parts and reputed Travel entities in the far east and Australia agianst tour cost of FIT travellers and group tours post complying with regulatory requirements. The job role required stepping out of office to acquire corporate as well for empanelling clientle to increase business profitability in forex business in addition to dealing in bulk ,American Express Corporate Banking team ,handling of EEFC & Special Rupee Account keeping regulatory compliance intact were part of the daily routine .
