Souvik has completed MBA in International Business with Marketing Specialization from SIIB, Pune. He is now working as a Functional Consultant for a Supermarket Chain Client at Deloitte USI. His area of expertise is in Oracle Finance and works in the Fixed Assets Module. He oversees the various activities in the asset lifecycle from addition of assets, transfer, adjustment, and retire/impair of assets. He guides business users and trouble shoots any issues that crop up during the execution of these processes. Souvik also takes care of the assets created from the capitalization of projects. He guides users when the projects fail to get processed via the OIC process, as well as in the stamping of asset numbers against project costs.When the Oracle patches are applied, he takes care of the regression testing in his module. He checks the basic functionality as well as the custom CBO pages that are in place. He also engages with the technical team to discuss and work on Jira enhancements as needed from the client side.Prior to this, Souvik had worked in the Identity and Access Management domain under Cognizant Security BU at Cognizant. His security tool was OKTA. An ardent reader and a passion for fitness, he uses his free time to hit the gym and also read novels.
