I've learned the process of being a cout team member, in which I collect up the table and slot machine money and run it through a machine that separate, sorts, and counts it. During those years with the job I've learned the importance of team work and management to achieve from steady to maximum efficiency of completing the task needed done. The job is very physical as each team member must uload empty cash and table boxes from the large trolley that carries it to the gaming floor, to the table or slot machine that needs to be changed out, pull out the boxes the previous day money in it, put in the empty one, and take back the full one back to the trolley. Once majority of it is collected, it's taken back to the secured count room to be counted. I have temporarily filled into the supervisor position several times to help manage and lead the team, manage the data collected from the count and input into the computer system, and prep paperwork from the data of the count collected from the counting machine. Working with 5 other departments involving the cout team in some way has help me learn to manage and communicate with them each to perform the job properly, effectively, and efficiently together as a team.
