Introduction to cassava business plan Cassava plantation in Cambodia is a part of agricultural development & government policy for agricultural production. Annually, farmers grow cassava about 820000 hectors and harvest cassava root is approximately 8. million tones .It converts 45% of cassava root, it’s approximately 3.6 million tones of dried cassava chip . However ,Cambodian and china government made agreement with China government to export cassava chip in total volume 1 million matrix tones for year 2012. Both government need to develop some mechanism policy to support the export and import . Project background Based on the agreement between both government “Cambodia & China” no:……..date:…......2012, cassava trade is approximately 1 million MT of dried cassava chip to be imported in to China market. the Cambodian Rural Development Agency (CRDA) has organized it’d 40000 members in 51 communities across the country which included 99districts , 462 communes and 5330 villages to produce cassava yields in according to the volume of China’s market demand and international markets .The project expected to provide thousand job opportunities for all members .CRDA needs to develop and coordinate activities to meet business partner and farmers ’ production. Business opportunities In generally and officially has been stated that 85% of population in Cambodia, involved agricultural productions. The farmers can provide huge products and labor to produce and meet of market needs . The farmers can provide their properties to produce which legally register of hard or soft land little ,and recognized by land authorities . Each of them got 5 hectors or less with, CRDA’s communities currently collect 320000 hectors . This communities properties will use for agricultural purpose.
