I am Professor of Chemistry at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois specializing in the area of organic chemistry. Governors State offers the following chemistry degrees:BS in Chemistry (ACS Certified)andMS in Analytical ChemistryMy teaching is in the area of synthetic and mechanistic organic chemistry, spectroscopy and general education courses in chemistry. My research covers the areas of organometallic chemistry, transition metal-based catalysis, asymmetric catalysis, environmental chemistry and chemistry of phase separations.Governors State University is located 30 miles south of downtown Chicago. It is easily accessed by bike, car and train. Our campus is on a 750 acre prairie with a nice circle of 50 acres of teaching, research, dormitory and physical plant buildings. Come Visit!
