Support management through risk identification, control testing and process improvement procedures.• Reported internal control issues to management through management letter comments including comprehensive recommendations to migrate identified risks.• Prepare audit committee reports to communicated audit results and findings to members of the committee.• Develop audit approach plan and prepare detailed audit programs for tests of controls and substantive procedures for significant accounts and disclosures.• Execute audit procedures, such as understanding and evaluating significant sources of information, testing controls, and performing substantive procedures in moderately complex, judgmental and/or specialized areas.• Drafts financial statements and foot-note disclosures in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).• Interacts with client personnel and demonstrate profound commitment to continually improve on client’s satisfaction.• Fosters teamwork by maintaining cooperative relationships with the client engagement team; contributing to a work environment that leads to high morale, productivity, and open communications; facilitating the resolution of conflicts; sharing information; and accepting and provides constructive feedback.• Provide guidance to assist staff in reaching their full potential (e.g. willingly address questions, contributes constructive on-the-job feedback and training, conduct meaningful and timely performance reviews).

Some of my main responsibilities include:- Review of client internal controls processes with a view to making recommendations where necessary;- Performing system documentation and walkthrough to gain understanding of the client business environment and ascertain existence of controls put in place by Management- Carrying out test of control procedures to ascertain whether the internal controls put in place by management are effective or otherwise- Review of Management meetings as well as the Internal audit reports/ inspection report- Performing appropriate audit procedures to ensure all applicable audit procedures requirements are carried out in an engagement- Preparation of audit working paper to document work performed and for review by engagement manager and engagement partner in accordance to EY Standard.- Compiling data and performing data analysis procedures aim at ensuring integrity of client’s financial reporting and controls and also to gain understanding of the client’s environment- Communicating of findings and recommendation through a Management Letter to the client in form of written communication as well as Oral communication where applicable.- Testing of material account balances to ensure the appropriateness of transactions;- Review of management processes for compliance with set laws and standards;- Conduct investigations of suspected improprieties in a confidential and professional manner;- Develop recommendations for areas of improvement, write reports documenting findings, and follow up on recommendations to ensure suggestions are implemented;- Audit the financial statements and accounting books and check authenticity, legality and reliability of the account composition;- Involved in the preparation of financial statements of client companies - Excel Modeling and GAMx system proficiency for financial analysis and reports
