Roles & Responsibilities:• Automation: Developing and implementing automated test scripts using pytest frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.• Testing: Testing the code at unit and integral level after verifying testcases manually. • Execution: Executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts manually or using automated testing tools. • Documentation: Maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation to ensure thorough test coverage and facilitate efficient testing processes.• Reporting: Providing regular status updates on testing progress, including test results, defect metrics, and product quality• Bug Tracking: Identifying and documenting defects or bugs found during testing and working with development teams to prioritize and resolve them.• Defect Management: Logging, tracking, and managing defects in a defect tracking system, and verifying fixes provided by developers.
