I am an experienced and dynamic leader with over 30 years of technology services leadership, working with organizations with varied needs ranging from operational to developmental, including regulatory, governance, standardization, and digital transformation.My foundation in technology communications is my strongest asset, allowing me to manage conversations with any audience in an organization, at any level; the goal is provide sufficient understand in which to take action or make confident decisions, and to ask questions until such decisions as possible. I have familiarity with several enterprise applications, including CRM, RDBMS, KM, HRIS, ERP, and BI solutions, as well as ecommerce delivery and mobile app delivery. In previous roles, I've been tasked with managing multi-million dollar technology budgets affecting an organization, with attention to service operation and management, applying organizational policies (and writing them, where necessary) to minimize unnecessary risks and provide clear guidelines for future services. Future service support included transforming an organization with on-premise dependencies to being primarily cloud-based, allowing staff to be more productive in remote locations, a key element to some of the roles. The entire organization was ready to transition to work-from-home at the onset of COVID-19 with minimal additional support. Having experience in ITIL provides a clear view on solution maintenance and operations, including the prioritization of CVE patching and upgrades, scheduling carefully within the confines of organizational requirements, such as blackout periods and business-critical dates, while ensuring changes are properly reviewed and planned across the technology team.
