I work as a research assistant in the Harvard Microrobotics Lab under the mentorship or Professor Robert Wood and Dr. Michelle Yuen.Website: https://www.micro.seas.harvard.edu/peopleI build networked soft and/or rigid-soft hybrid robotic gripper systems with tactile and proprioceptive sensors. Specifically, I design and fabricate sensors for soft robotic systems that can measure local strains within a single sensor device. By training artificial neural networks for reconstruction of sensor state based on changes of measured capacitance and resistance across desired frequency sweep range, I work to reconstruct the formation of gripper robots to provide real-time feedback for adjustments in gripping and manipulation.

I conducted a bibliometric analysis of indexed orthopedic journals’ LMIC authorship and factors contributing to representation disparities. I published two papers, “Evaluation of Low- and Middle-Income Country Authorship in the Global Orthopaedic Literature” in JAAOS: Global Research and Reviews and “Authorship Patterns in the Orthopaedic Journals of Low-Income and Lower-Middle-Income Countries” in Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.I was mentored by Harvard Medical School Professor Collin May and Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program Dr. Jason Young.

As Research Assistant at the Harvard Kennedy School, I worked closely with Dr. John Park on a project looking into identifying patterns in cybersecurity attacks from North Korea in the past decade. Furthermore, I researched the role of intelligence in North Korea and analyzed the trajectory of North Korean cyber capabilities as a researcher on the Harvard Korea Project: North Korea Cybersecurity Team.My final report looked into North Korea’s high-profile cyber-attacks, including the Sony Pictures retaliation hack of 2014 and the WannaCry 2.0 ransomware attack of 2017. The level of sophistication of technical concepts and procedures, extent of financial damage, and level of international tensions involved were thoroughly analyzed and presented.

As the Democratic Party of Florida Communications Intern, I was responsible for the daily media monitoring tasks for the Democratic Party of Florida. Furthermore, I wrote the ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) reports based on significant press releases, op-eds, and more. These reports were sent to the Democratic Party of Florida members. I also took part in the Rapid Response team that delt with more urgent communications tasks. Harvard Student Agencies, Inc.(HSA) is the largest student-run company in the world, employing more than 650 undergraduates annually. Founded in 1957, HSA is a multi-million dollar non-profit company.As the Director of Operations, I was responsible for the direction and coordination of the organization. My focus was on keeping the programs we run to be profitable throughout its every function, from human resources to production. Various marketing techniques including social media, AB testing, securing partnerships, and more were utilized. I played my role in expense control, staff management, program production, and intern communication.

As a research assistant at the Harvard Decision Science Laboratory, I assisted in designing and conducting various social behavior experiments. Furthermore, I took part in weekly experiment case studies and statistical analysis sessions in the lab.
