Joining the TeamSnap team as they gear up for a great new run at unifying youth sports and making parents, coaches and teams member's lives easier. Really excited to be returning to a world I remember loving and excited to be digging back into a product again.

Helping build the team at Rocket Science. Heavily involved with developing our team's focus on Engineering Excellence, and aligning our staff skills with challenging work. Managing a world-wide team, working with them to establish their own goals for personal development and kickstarting our evaluation framework.Also, I've re-entered the world of leading a team of high-functioning engineers, assisting in building a great product in golang, Typescript and NextJS. The big focus of the moment is really on engaging our team to help the client in the best way possible, and really demonstrate engineering excellence and a consultancy mindset, while also designing, coding and participating in code reviews.

Getting back into the world of games, working with some awesome people, building awesome things. Personally working to extend and increase the lifetime of a major AAA live service game, in C# on a custom-written, asynchronous actor framework using gRPC and Azure. Simultaneously, I've been working on building out Rocket Science Engineering team across multiple geographies and disciplines. Described and defined an organizational structure not necessarily managerial, but instead leadership/mentorship based, to allow everyone to build soft skills and advance their careers.

Senior Software engineer on the TriumpPay platform, helping to optimize payments between shippers and truckers. Assisted with the creation of a new Payments Network, directly tying factors, brokers and shippers into the bank's payment stream process. Directly handled customer support, maintaining a Ruby on Rails system and building out new features for the transportation industry.

Overseeing Enterprise Services for the Affinitiv Atlas Platform - worked to create and oversee two teams, The Core Team and the Integrations Team, and began the process of designing a unified API and process for all Enterprise level clients. Additionally, I was very involved with hiring and staffing decisions, and worked hard with the existing engineering team to find ways to help them advance and design the path they wanted for themselves.

An C# developer on the Autoloop product, and lead on the Core team. Handled cross-system services, like Voice, Mail, and Postage, making them available to the whole suite of Autoloop's other systems.

Lead engineer and partner at a start up for helping volunteers and organizations track and verify the good done by their members.Designed, documented and implemented initial version of P4G application, working with my partner to determine base requirements and preparing something that would engage the Ed-Tech marketplace. Additionally, brought on and managed additional developers, making sure their needs were met and they were being productive and successful.

The final state of my SportsSignup experience. After acquiring SportsIllustratedPlay from Time Inc, SportsEngine had me and other other the other senior architects sit in on the process of absorbing SSU/SIPlay into the SE hegemony. It was an unpleasant time.

Same as what I was doing at SportsSignup, since it got acquired. Building a kickass youth sports registration and team management system in C#, ASP.Net, only now with a much larger team.Most recently I've been heavily involved with migrating our large, existing ASP.NET code base to the newer, sexier, platform independent ASP.NET core. This has driving me into learning about docker, linux cross compatibility and Amazon's ECS services to deploy the containers.

Online youth sports registration and management application. Primarily ASP.NET MVC, C#. Developed a cool Compliance Framework for testing if a person is able to register (including rules on geographic location and possessing an uploaded image), a neat communication framework for sending emails and sms's from coaches to their teams, and have started recently dabbling in api's, to try and make it so that we can offer some data for other developers to build out into cool things.

Ruby on Rails Shop - Worked as an engineer on statistic sites for games such as New International Track and Field (DS), Dance Dance Revolution Universe (Xbox360) and Transformers 2 (DS).

ColdFusion shop - worked on extending a proprietary cms for customers like Stewarts Shops, SUNY Nano College, Star Fire Ceramics and Albany Airport.

Classic ASP and ASP.NET shop - worked on sites such as the NY State Senate Majority, I LOVE NY, NYS Contract Reporter, and Tri-City Rentals.

Aluminum Extruder and Windows Manufacturer - I did custom web work, building their website, maintained a java based B2B system, and worked on a .net based custom window ordering system for use in lumber yards and stock suppliers.

I worked as a developer liaison, trying to make sure that our dedicated software developers were creating exactly what the client wanted.
