About Juan Arredondo
My path, mechanic to engineerI started my career in the Navy as an aircraft mechanic, within a short time I’ve worked on multiple types of models such as the MH-60 Seahawk, UH-1N Huey, P3 Orion, AH-1W Cobra. My experience in the navy also includes intermediate maintenance level repair (I level) a similar civilian equivalency to maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO). During which I’ve held quality related roles where I always exceeded normal expectations, resulting in quick advancement and exposure to different levels of maintenance management I left the Navy to further my career in the civilian Aerospace industry and joined the Army Reserves to continue my service to my countryI’ve always enjoy giving back to the community, I’ve done so by volunteering in efforts to bring joy to terminally ill children at Kapiolani Women and Childrens hospital in Hawaii, afterschool tutoring of American kids attending schools overseas in Misawa Japan, feeding the homeless in San Diego, performing as a magician for kids at military events, gave burial honors to over 40 passed veterans, and most recently, during Operation Allies Welcomed I improved the morale of displaced Afghan children by performing magic at our refugee center In my current employer, I started as Quality Inspector, and was quickly promoted to Senior Inspector. I was one of the few inspectors authorized to sign-off inspections on any of our Spaceship’s the systems. My devotion and attention to detail allowed me to be promoted to Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer I’ve been exposed to multiple engineering tools and methods that I’ve learned and practiced, and I’ve made significant contributions with great measurable results I’m eager to take higher roles and responsibilities and grow my skillset while mentoring others
