Dr. S. P. Angeline Kirubha, is currently working as Associate Professor, Biomedical Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai. She received her Doctoral Degree from SRMIST, Chennai in the year of 2016; M. Tech (Biomedical Engineering), May -2005 from IIT Chennai. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience in Biomedical and Instrumentation field. She has published 40 research articles in reputed journals and attended more than 25 Conferences. She has published 2 patents and 2 patents got granted. She has completed 5 online courses. She has organized many Technical Workshops and Medical Equipment Expo. She has been one of the Board of study Member of Curriculum for various institutions. She is also one of the Curriculum committee member, Board of study member and Anti Ragging Committee member in SRMIST. She is also Doctoral committee member for more than 4 research scholars from various institutes. She is currently guiding 4 research scholars in the broad area of Medical Image analysis and Biomedical device Development. Her current research field includes Deep learning for medical image analysis, Myopia tracker and Designing Point of care systems.
