The Swiss Distance University Institute is a young institution, leading in distance teaching in Switzerland. A rich spectrum of distance degrees, university awards (B.A., M.A.) and further education programmes have been developed. At this moment more than 1500 students are registered. They have the opportunity to study in German and French; some programmes are now also offered in English. The objective of the Swiss Distance University Institute is to promote and develop the basic academic formation as well as continuing education at the university level on the Swiss territory. The Swiss Distance University Institute collaborates with the Confederation, the cantons as well as Swiss and foreign universities and organizations.Main tasks :- Direction of administration and coordination of the activities of the fundation.- Coordination of the regional study centers in Sierre, Brigue and Pfäffikon SZ.Human Ressources;Finances;Infrastructures and informatic;Quality management;Public relation, communication and marketing.
