Senior Principal Computer Systems Architect
Current– Provide day-to-day Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and User support across multiple networks to include: ∗ Windows Server Administration ∗ Linux Systems Administration ∗ VMware Administration ∗ Desktop/Peripheral support for active engineering and software development staffs.∗ Diagnose and resolve complex problems involving Servers, SAN storage and switches.∗ Patch systems, scan systems for vulnerabilities (Security Center/Nessus, SCAP), harden systems (DISA STIGS), audit log files, update virus definitions and participate in successful IS accreditations/inspections∗ Task automation using Powershell, Javascript, or similar tools ∗ Basic Network Support (Cisco switches, routers, firewalls and VoIP phones) ∗ System Backups & COOP Planning– Provide leadership and guidance on how to comply with the security requirements for RMF. – Collaborate with experts in technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions to support project requirements. – Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems– Maintain system documentation, developing infrastructure support procedures, and providing security support. – Analyzes internal or external customer needs, and determines equipment and software requirements for solutions of problems by means of automated systems. Develop customized solutions to customer/user problems. Establishes system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software compatibility, and coordinates and/or modifies user requirements in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
