I am now an operator on a CHP plant producing steam and power for sellafield. In my previous job i used to make catalysts for the petrochemical industry but started in the Laboratory back in 1985. I was with the company for 32 years. I enjoy overseeing new plant installations and producing new procedures for the running of the new plants as well as having input into how they will run once installed. I am computer literate and build/upgrade/repair pc in my spare time. I also do unofficial work on the computer side at work, setting up peoples profiles, printers and making up programs within Excel to make the other operators lives easier. i have made up many programs in my time at work that monitors plant, works out times for specific parts of the process and then works out overall time for the batch being made listing all down time between different parts of the whole process. i have helped transport come up with a label program to label pallets/drums/IBC's etc without the need to buy anything else in. in my spare time i have designed a couple of items, sought out a manufacturer and sell them on the auction websites
