I am a Physical Education teacher at Mexico Academy & Central School, split between the high school and elementary school. I serve as the P.E. Department Coordinator for the district. Additionally I’m the districts Aquatics Instructor in which, I help to design, coordinate, and instruct aquatic programs. I received a Bachelors of Science in the dual-major program for K-12 teacher certification in health and physical education from Canisius University. I have received New York State professional teacher certification in both K-12 health and physical education. I completed my Masters Degree in Sport Administration from Canisius. The Sports Administration program gives me the skills to effectively manage a wide range of sport-related enterprises including intercollegiate athletics, amateur and professional sports, sport-marketing firms, special-event management, and facility management.I completed a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership through SUNY Oswego and currently hold NYS SBL and SDL certificates. Additionally, I hold certifications as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard & Lifeguard Instructor, First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor, Certified Pool Operator from the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance.
