Project – Multi-functional Cellular Imaging System: • Managing multi-functional imaging instrument development project from product concept and requirements analysis phase through the design, development, prototyping, verification, validation and commercial launch.• Leading a cross-functional project team of about 40 members across 3 continents and 5 countries which includes engineering, software development, marketing, product management, quality, regulatory, service, manufacturing, finance functions• Adopted waterfall methodology for hardware and Agile methodology for software development• Supported marketing activities to validate product concept and value proposition through voice-of-customer and focus group surveys and by conducting external trials with the prospective customers• Administered project execution and scope by monitoring project spend plan and project schedule along with the user and system level requirements• Worked closely with finance to provide accurate budget estimates and actual spend analysis and assisted in accounting liquidation and capital asset funds• Implementing GE Healthcare Phase Review Discipline and Design Controls process to the rigor in order to comply with quality management system requirements and documentation standards.• Developed and monitored key project documents throughout the project life cycle such as the Integrated Design Plan, Program Risk Assessment and Retirement Plan, Software Development Plan, and Design Transfer Plan

Project – IN Cell Analyzer 6000 High Content Imaging System• Collaborated with an OEM vendor to manage the design, development and launch of a high performance laser-based imaging system, on time, to specs and within allocated budget. The product received “Scientists Choice” Drug Discovery award in 2011.• Responsibilities included project planning, milestone reviews, execution control, task breakdown/prioritization, resource allocation, facilitating design reviews, financial planning and accounting, identifying and mitigating potential risks• Led cross-functional team comprising of Engineering, Regulatory/Safety, EHS, Service, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Applications Validation and Sourcing

Project - IN Cell Analyzer Data Analysis & Management Software• Collaborated partnership between customer and internal GE R&D team to develop and deliver IN Cell Compliance Manager package consisting of software, IQ/OQ/RQ documentation and validation services. The solution helped customer integrate image acquisition and analysis software in GxP environment enabling 21 CFR Part 11 compliance• Spearheaded design, development, integration, verification, validation and delivery on IN Cell Miner HCM data management project involving a team of about 30 people across 3 continents, 5 countries and 7 sites. The end result of the project was the client-server based data management and visualization product integrated with EMC Documentum Content Server platform and Oracle database

• Developed installation packages for image acquisition and analytical software using InstallShield.• Performed full software development life cycle with emphasis on technologies such as object oriented analysis and design (OOAD), image analysis and processing and their roles in the software development process using C++ and Visual Studio.Net.• Participated in knowledge transfer activities for software infrastructure during the site closure and transition phase• Provided strategic input and participated in overall improvement of software development process and procedures using Visual SourceSafe.• Assisted in training of software developers in the areas of products, processes, tools, programming techniques and technologies.• Prepared agendas and served as the central point of contact for software releases and software turnover meetings.• Ensured compliance with configuration management requirements and source control process.• Provided support for software licensing and setup configuration to internal and external customers.
