Digital Ambassador for TMU International College through The Ambassador Platform from November 2021 till September 2022. This work required me to represent the university online in order to help prospective students make a more informed and confident choice about their educational options. As of September 2022, I had: conversations with 50+ prospective students to answer their questions and advise them on various topics about the TMU International College and my experiences. On average, I was rated as ‘excellent’ by the prospective students I spoke to;Produced 225+ social media posts which have been used by the TMU International College in their public communications.This work helped me to develop the following skills:Interpersonal and communication skills through the conversations I’ve had with prospective students as a representative of the TMU International College;Customer service skills through the process of understanding the question I’m being asked and working to find the best answers I can for the prospective student. This may include doing research or working with the wider team of staff and Ambassadors;Marketing, creative and social media skills through the collaboratively working with the marketing department to create social posts for the TMU International College;Written communication skills as all the work I did as an Ambassador through The Ambassador Platform involved written communications, some of which were public-facing;Organisation, planning and time management skills to be able to fit this additional work around my studies whilst being able to meet all deadlines;Teamwork and professional skills were required to work collaboratively both with staff at the TMU International College and other Ambassadors.

Student Leader at Ryerson University International College for the Summer and Fall semesters in 2021. I helped students become familiar with services at RUIC while also hosting events and activities to help students connect with one another. Being part of the first ever Student Leadership team was a wonderful professional opportunity for me.
