Dreamchaser is a contemporary Australian content studio. With the backing of global content powerhouse Fifth Season, Dreamchaser provides a unique home for creators to develop exceptional programming slates, cultivate distinctive creative identities and bring the next generation of Australia’s most ambitious and imaginative stories to the world.​Currently developing my directorial feature debut: "Fear and Loathing in Kathmandu" with Dreamchaser/Den of Martians and Bodhini Studios.

Founded Project Dastaan, an award-winning digital humanities initiative, directing an international team of researchers, creative technologists and documentary filmmakers to create interactive resources on the 1947 Partition of the Indian subcontinent.- Coordinated the virtual reconnection of over 15 survivors of the Partition to their ancestral homes across the India-Pakistan border. This involved a rigorous process of in-depth interviews, coordination of film teams, and transforming gathered footage into bespoke VR experiences, while ensuring sensitivity and respect for survivors' mental health- Received acclaim as an innovator in new media storytelling and visual culture by international media, including being listed in the British History Curriculum and National Archives, features in TIME, The BBC, The New Yorker, Reuters, Nikkei, NPR, and National Geographic amongst others. My work was endorsed by Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and Gabo Arora, director of Immersive Storytelling and Emerging Technologies at John Hopkins University.- Led an international exhibition tour in 2022 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Partition, including showings at renowned venues such as the V&A (the world’s biggest art museum) in London, ForumDesImages in Paris, Partition Museum Delhi and Amritsar in India, National History Museum Lahore in Pakistan and an upcoming tour in 2025 in the USA, funded by Ford Foundation, Arts Council England, and Australia Council for the Arts. Raised over $200,000 USD for the project.• Managed a successful $28000 USD Kickstarter Campaign with over 450+ individual donors, exceeding target by 30%.

- Collaborated with SOAS University on an AHRC funded research project, employing qualitative research methods such as surveys and participatory workshops to explore how VR technology and visual media can be used to inform pedagogical practices.- Led the production of a VR industry whitepaper, working with a PhD researcher to create a case study on how new entrants to the immersive industry in the UK could access public funding and distribute their projects. This was commissioned by Immerse UK and Arts Council England.- Awarded grant by Enhancing Research Culture Fund at University of Warwick to conduct a research project entitled “Visual Identification With Partition History Through VR and Traditional Animation”

I produced the anthology of animated shorts, Lost Migrations. Lost Migrations premiered at the BFI Southbank and receiving tremendous audience response, with 3 premiere screenings selling out within days.- Digital Premiere on MUBI INDIA and NOWNESS ASIA- Funded by the British Council and National Geographic Society- Led the production of a fully responsive touchscreen map, website, and classroom resources on the Partition, available in English, Hindi, Urdu and Bangla.- Worked with Stanford University SPICE (Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education) to develop a new social studies on Partition, decolonization and migration.

I produced and directed the award-winning VR documentary "Child of Empire” in Unity Game Engine, collaborating between studios in India, the United Kingdom and Romania. - Funded by CreativeXR, CatchLight Foundation, BFI Doc Society and Unity Technologies. Premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2022, official selection at Sheffield DocFest and 2020 Venice Production Bridge Gap Financing Market. Received the inaugural XR History Award from the Korber Stiftung Foundation. The project was reviewed in The Economist and the Journal for Religion and Film.

With the support of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust for Emerging Australian Artists, I completed a production residency with Serge Lalou at Golden Globe Award-winning Les Films d’Ici Méditerranée from February to June 2024. I researched their international co-production strategy (particularly for feature animation), and worked on securing funding from public bodies such as EURIMAGES and CNC, for four projects in particular:- Mon ami Gadhgadhi by Rafik Omrani, animated feature film- La baleine by Sylvère Petit, feature-length fiction film- Le dernier refuge by Aurel, feature-length fiction film- Désert by Aurel, animated feature film

Originate Factual is a three-month, multi-stage program is designed to support mid-career Victorian talent to develop high-end documentary series with global appeal under the guidance of leading industry professionals. Selected as one of 12 Victorian producer/directors to take part in the program.

Imagining Peace is a first-response web toolkit to support artists in conflict/post-conflict states with financial and industry resources, incubated at the EU Global Cultural Relations Programme 2021. I managed the digital production of the toolkit, coordinating the efforts of the team and external web developers.

Birdsong is an award winning documentary short about the Hmong community of northern Laos, commissioned by The Guardian in collaboration with Audible UK and Aesthetica Magazine's "Listening Pitch"Premiered at SXSW 2023, official selection at Sundance London and Palm Springs IFF (Special Mention: Best Documentary Short). Shortlisted for a Grierson and International Documentary Association (IDA) Award, longlisted for the British Independent Film (BIFA) Award, and chosen as a Vimeo Staff Pick.

- Co-creator of "Off the Record" a musical VR journey exploring the rise of bhangra music and development of South Asian British identity, in collaboration with Emmy-award winning animation studio No Ghost, and the Daytimers DJ collective.- I raised $65,000 R&D production budget from the StoryFutures Academy to build a 3-10 minute archive-based VR experience in collaboration with an academic expert. 10 companies were commissioned to use and reinterpret the UK's national media archives (BFI, BBC) to develop new VR experiences and storytelling approaches for the UK-wide creativity festival, Unboxed 2022.

I was contracted by London’s Tara Theatre to conduct an immersive film shoot for a VR/Theatre hybrid piece, shedding light on the unheard experience of women through the War of Independence in Bangladesh. I managed the end-to-end VR line production in Bangladesh. The piece won the Digital Innovation Award at the 2023 UK Theatre Awards.

SAHM is the official UK campaign commemorating South Asians and their heritage, through a month of arts, music and culture events. I raised $25K USD for the organization through an Arts Council National Lottery Program grant, SAHM’s first tranche of official funding.

Chosen as one of 12 interns out of over 2000 applicants for summer program, engaged in a confidential legal project for a major financial services player in London, and received a full-time offer upon completion of the program.
