This is a language Centre which have a good team of educators who are qualified in teaching the second language.We are one of the only two TOEFL iBT accredited Centre in the country.

As an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher, I instructed students who are not versed in the language to understand, speak, write and read English. I worked with students who spoke a variety of languages, such as Spanish, French. Chinese, Vietnamese and many others. I used a variety of teaching methods depending on the individual needs of the students. I also assisted students in completing classwork and tests by sometimes translating assignments into the student's native language.I Created a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to thematurity, interest, and abilities of students, and provided both social and emotional support for those English Language Learners.I acted as a liaison between the student and other teachers, staff members and family as well as Centre Link (Employment/Social Services agency).I participated in in-service and staff development activities and staff meetings as required or assigned.

i was responsible for the safety, education, care and comfort of each and every student in my classroom. I was also responsible for the daily activities that kept our students active and engaged; creating lesson plans, interacting with students and documentation of learning were considered essential responsibilities of this position.I helped to maintain a safe and clean classroom and also model proper table manners during meal and snack times. As the Lead Teacher, I was responsible for writing lesson plans for other teachers to follow especially if I was absent from the classroom.
