I am a recent CSU Chico graduate, with my BA in Organizational Communication Studies, a minor in Spanish with a Health and Wellness pathway. I spent 4 years in the Army National Guard where I greatly strengthened my leadership skills, adaptability to work individually and with diverse groups to overcome several obstacles as well as the ability to adapt and excel when exposed to a variety of teaching methods. As an Organizational Communication major, I am confident with public speaking, writing proficiency, and my ability to transition between rapport and report communication styles whenever necessary. My work history and military experience together have given me exposure to a variety of diverse organizations and people which has prepared me well for deciding on a specific career path, which is to open my own substance abuse recovery center.
