I've spent 20 years in the Internet and payments/fraud industry. This experience has taught me how to develop solutions that are not tied to just one field or one area of expertise, as well as how to expertly communicate this concept across many fields and departments through consulting and public speaking.After a lengthy stint as the CEO of a small eBook company, which I grew into a multimillion-dollar public records search corporation, I began developing new connections, products and services in the payments and technology industries. I soon returned to a corporate setting and joined the energetic and innovative team at Riot Games as their Director of Fraud and Risk Management for almost four years. In that capacity, I led my group to greatly reduce fraud and increase account security for millions of gamers. After Riot, I worked with other major tech and gaming companies like Epic Games to cut down fraud while providing a secure and rewarding gaming experience. Finally, in my last corporate role I became the first ever VP of Friendly Fraud while at Kount (an Equifax company) where I helped them bring their Dispute and Chargeback Management solution (VMPI, Verifi, Ethoca) to life and aiding many of their merchants to fight chargebacks and/or get out of Visa and Mastercard Monitoring Programs.Today, I'm working on two companies in financial education ... First, CNPMentors aims to get the information about Card Not Present (CNP) payments, fraud and risk in to the hands of everyone who needs it along with consulting aiding merchants in payments and fraud especially in helping them get out of the chargeback monitoring programs. Second, I'm working with HowMoneyWorks.org in order to educate people in financial literacy via our best selling book and classes offered free to most individuals, organizations or businesses.
