Since 2010 Stephen Peary has served as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel to San Francisco-based Phizzle, Inc. Phizzle is the first IoT software company to break through the performance requirements of edge device computation, enabling enterprise customers to automate and rely on IoT devices in mission-critical environments. Phizzle delivers the power of automation to pharmaceutical manufacturing by remotely capturing and processing data generated by multiple types and vendors of scientific lab instruments from a single UI in a cloud environment. Mr. Peary arranged and negotiated Phizzle's venture equity funding and debt facilities while providing operational guidance. He served as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for FPX, LLC, a SaaS-based software company, from February 2009 to August 2010 as well as its publicly-registered predecessor (Firepond, Inc.) from April 2005 until February 2009. He led the Company through several financings and SEC registrations. He consulted for the predecessor company restructuring operations to an OnDemand SaaS Software provider from September 2004 until April 2005. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Peary served as Managing Director of Stinson Capital Management, Ltd., arranging the financing of marine and energy related assets. From 1997 to 2002 he served as Managing Director of Liverpool & London Protection and Indemnity Association, a mutual manager of marine assets and liability risks located in Liverpool, England. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Peary served as Senior Vice President at PLM International, Inc., a publicly traded manager of diversified investment portfolios focused on transportation-related equipment, including ships and commercial aircraft. He negotiated more than $4 billion in company and investment entity financings while heading legal, finance, insurance, human relations and investor relations departments. He serves on the board of directors of NCIRE – the Veterans Health Research Institute located at San Francisco Veterans Administration Fort Miley and formerly sat on the board of directors for Vantage West Credit Union headquartered in Tucson.
