Glen Speed is a technical director for corporate live events who brings over 25 years of staging and production design experience to the table with events that have taken him extensively throughout North America as well as the UK, Europe and South America.He has a strong background, in production and set design, visuals, lighting, sound, floor plan design and site planning. His management style with both union and non-union crews, as well as his production management skills help ensure the show is operating on schedule and running smoothly.Glen started in the business by first working his way up through a number of staging companies in the Toronto area. After several years as a lead technician he made the transition to crew and project management. After gaining experience with unions, trade show management and CAD design Glen started to position himself as a senior technical director for live events.Highlights include a five year full time position at Integrated Communications and Entertainment where he headed up the technical production team for the Canadian and New York offices.In addition to a wide range of corporate live events for clients such as Microsoft, Blackberry, McDonald’s, Mazda and Hyundai, Glen has also brought his production design skills to events likethe Pan Am 2015 Games, World Youth Day, Green Living Show, The Shops At Don Mills Summer Concert Series, as well as various trade shows and festivals.
