Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Current• Perform Quality functions such as: customer coordination, conformity inspections and fault detections on aircraft systems, airworthiness inspections (including pre-flight and post-flights), corrective action and investigations• Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight. • Ensure any aircraft and component maintenance data is documented and appropriately disseminated and maintaining a record of all corrective actions taken according to the specifications, processes, and procedures required.• Perform all work in compliance with pertinent aircraft service bulletins, company AAIP, MEL procedures, regulations (FAR’s), engineering orders, airworthiness directives and maintenance manuals.• Coordinate and provide technical feedback data with representatives of component suppliers to achieve maximum reliability from installed equipment.• Utilized computer-based maintenance software (RAMCO, Cisco VPN, Microsoft Office, Protean) in day to day operations.• Collaborate with service engineers to strategize and implement appropriate system and component repairs.• Initiated a ‘’Gurney Loading” training program which saved approximately $25,000 annually in composite airframe repairs and by reducing aircraft OUT-OF-SERVICE time.• Provide leadership and technical expertise to junior technicians.
