I worked alongside the head curator learning basics of exhibit design, archiving, and event planning. In the museum's archives, I continued an ongoing project of digitizations of documents and artifacts held there. I became very familiar with Past Perfect software for this task. I conducted research for an exhibit on Davenport's sister city, Kaiserslautern in Germany. I also got to design exhibit boards which were put on display for the public in February of 2019. I lead tours through downtown Davenport, telling stories of the people and buildings that make up the history of the city. I also aided in the running of a major German cultural event at the center, which several hundreds of people attended.
