I covered five states in the upper Midwest and called on both independent and chain pet stores. I represented 17 lines of pet products and my job was to place product on the shelves. The biggest challenges were to fight for wall space and to justify our higher pricing.

I trained over 100 sales reps to sell Cutco Cutlery. I ran interviews, training, and ongoing training.

I trained 120 sales representatives and continually worked with them to enhance their sales skills. I managed the reps, three receptionists, and an assistant manager. That summer my office was 1 out of 16 in sales for new branch offices with about $150K in sales.

I hit the highest level of sales in just a year and a half selling Cutco Cutlery to customers in their homes. My business was based off of recommendation and 1 on 1 presentations.
