Branting Consulting is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm specializing in electromechanical engineering, SolidWorks training and FEA (finite element analysis) of simple machine elements.

Design, development, testing and production of ultra-quality and custom espresso machines. I implemented drawing standards, BOM control and documentation standards to meet industry qualifications for quality and safety. I also maintained communications with vendors and potential vendors, kept track of quotation prices and if the vendor could hold to the material finish standards required to meet the customers' expectations for the sold equipment.

Senior designer, team leader, and document control specialist. Activault PDM administrator and systems coordinator. Electromechanical Designer of precision water jet cutting machines. Specifically, design of ultra high pressure water pumps and automated solids removal systems for water jet tables. Headed the finalization of design and documentation for the 10060 100HP high pressure pump. Coordinated with manufacturing, engineering, documentation and production planning to meet the target date for release of the pumps on time. Implemented a file vault system to keep the some 100,000 CAD files and other documentation used at Omax organized and revision controlled. Both individual initiative and teamwork skills are a regular part of this position to meet the project performance goals.

Algas designs and manufactures LPG and Natural Gas vaporization equipment sized from propane tanks to large scale custom industrial installations. Designed a self-contained vaporization system that was housed in a 40' ocean container for a Saudi Arabian gas production company.

New product development for rough terrain scissors lift equipment also providing support to manufacturing operations. Solid model creation and some prototype machine fabrication was done to facilitate testing of said scissor lifts. Also completed prototype fixtures and test rigs for hydraulics.

Mechanical Designer

I specifically worked on a project to design, develop and deploy a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) for the Japanese Department of Geology (BMS2). This robot was rated for ocean depths of 20,000 feet and 9,000 psi outside water pressure. Once deployed from a support ship, the robot would drill 70' long core samples of the ocean floor for geologic study. Machine set a world record for deep ocean geologic core sample return.
