As a national repair technician, I work with field technicians from XO and local exchange carriers on repairing T1, Ethernet over copper, and many other types of circuits. I also work to repair and change configurations in our voice group working with the 5E and DMS switch.

As a Technical Inquiry Specialist, I researched, assessed, coordinated, and monitored health care needs and provided information about community resources. I trained new incoming employees on our process. I handled all maintenance issues for customers and other coworkers using the proprietary I-exchange and CarePlanner Web systems. I was responsible for adding new accounts, new providers, and members to the database for I-exchange in addition to covering any maintenance issues with Care planner Web. I promptly responded to telephone calls, faxes, emails, and voice mail messages. I also was responsible for reviewing cases for medical and surgical services.

As an Installation Technician, I was responsible for properly installing all Audio / Visual and Networking equipment in educational, commercial, and residential areas. I constantly maintained and serviced various equipment. I was responsible to have a vast knowledge of various brands of projectors, projection screens, speaker systems, control systems, routers, switches and how they function with various computer and network operating systems. I also was responsible for installing wall mounted televisions and audio/visual racks. This position also gave me experience in troubleshooting video conferencing equipment and software such as Polycom and Tandberg.

As a Student Technician, I led installation projects for new classrooms. I installed audio and video equipment in classrooms. In this position I also helped manage the network on campus, which consisted of multi vendor equipment such as Cisco, Nortel among other various routers and switches. I partnered and coordinated with teachers, guest speakers, and other student technicians to make sure presentations went smoothly and maintenance of the a/v equipment was up to date. I also performed all routine maintenance on computer systems in all classrooms which consisted of duties such as: removing and replacing hard drives, optical drives, USB hubs, monitors, and other various tasks. Troubleshooting was done through a VNC program used to remote into computers, otherwise I was dispatched to the classroom.
