In my senior year of high school, my intention was to attend Utah State University. As I reviewed my GPA and standardized test scores with a counselor, he began to look uneasy and concerned. He turned to me with surety and told me in his big, overzealous way that I should consider a school besides Utah State—apparently, I just wasn't good enough and it would cost too much. Well, despite his best efforts to dissuade me, I committed to Utah State. Not only was I accepted into the school, but I was paid for attending my first year due to my efforts in scholarship applications!I am a dedicated and dependable business management student attending the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. My previous educational and professional performance illustrate the commitment I feel to any task I undertake. Hands-on experiences in school and work have taught me important lessons and pushed me to develop valuable skills, especially in relation to the business world.I find my greatest drive engaging in pursuits of merit. If I understand the importance of a task, I will exhaust every effort to accomplish it. Therefore, I am passionate about helping others in truly meaningful ways. My highest ambition is to enter a field where I can utilize my skills while positively impacting others' lives. Where exactly will this ambition lead me? That much remains to be determined. I am currently researching where exactly I intend to end up. I anticipate graduating with my bachelor's degree in December 2024, and I am fortunate to be working in a career-oriented position with the Space Dynamics Laboratory while finishing my degree.
