Manage the workflow in the warehouse. Supervise the warehouse team; provide direction, support, coaching, and performance management. Communicate inventory related information in an effective manner to management team and other employees. Oversee the shipping and receiving functions. Manage, prepare for, and assist with physical inventory process. Maintain appropriate levels of inventory, based on current usage. Order and receive supplies as needed. Perform regular inventory counts. Maintain general storeroom. Modify inventory levels based on reports. Add new products as needed and work with vendors to identify items. Work with purchasing to review and/or revise contracts for items and/or vendors. Monitor par levels of items to adjust as needed per volume shift. Receive items and add them to inventory management system

Performed receiving duties including, verifying accuracy of warehouse deliveries by comparing to purchase orders. Inspected items for damage or defects. Transporting and storing items in appropriate warehouse location. Performed distribution duties including, filling pick-list requests for warehouse items. Utilized packing materials and transport units according to established policies and procedures.
