While earning my Exercise Science Degree, I was excited to be brought on to work with the BVPT team. I worked among some of the best Physical Therapists and clinicians of Sports Medicine in the area of Overland Park, Kansas.I learned a lot of responsibility while here - so much so that I was entrusted to lead new employees and teach them according to the role they were hired for. My continued willingness to be flexible helped me here. There were times I took the initiative to run front desk operations and even opened the clinic at times.It was here I managed a variety of responsibilities, including taking on duties that were uncommon to my particular role. My main tasks Included running patients through stretches and exercises when Physical Therapists were busy with more than one appointment at a time. I also provided heating and cooling modalities, as well as various massage techniques. They entrusted me with duties they usually perform, and I was admired for it.
