The Homestead Projects for Street Children in a non-profit organization that provides a nurturing home, opportunity to receive an education and drug rehabilitation if needed, to boys that would otherwise be homeless. I produced, directed and edited a full length documentary to be used as a fundraising tool for The Homestead. I conducted detailed, personal interviews and communicated with both staff and children in depth to learn The Homestead’s story and what can be done to aid their mission currently and in the future as well. In addition I organized an online, “Crowdrise” fundraiser campaign to raise donations along with a website where the documentary can be streamed in 1080p.

Sporting chance is a non-profit organization in Cape Town, South Africa that provides impoverished youth with opportunities to play sports as an outlet from street life. I traveled throughout Cape Town documenting our different programs with my camera as well as helping with marketing and project implementation. I then turned my footage into promotional videos which were used to show our sponsors how their donations were being utilized. I conversed directly with the founder of Sporting Chance to achieve the intended mood and purpose of my promotional pieces.
