As I enter my third application season with CEG, my primary position helping students perfect their college admissions essays with 1-1 virtual coaching. Last year, I worked with 12 students across the world-- many of whom are now planning to attend their dream school this Fall. In addition to student coaching, I work as a freelance educator and writer. I teach writing workshops in person and online using CEG resources. Online, I lead Zoom workshops for public and private institutions across the country, helping students with all aspects of the college admissions process. I have hosted Q&A sessions on livestreams via CEG social media, and I am currently contributing to content creation for their Tiktok, Instagram, and Youtube platforms. This upcoming summer will be my third year teaching a 3-week long college admissions writing workshop at Granada Hills Charter High School in Los Angeles.My responsibilities in the past have included specializing in virtual essay editing, as well as managing and training a team of other essay editors who work for CEG to make quality control reports. Moreover, I have also contributed to the College Essay Guy resources and online blog, which got over 7 million hits in the last year alone.

Healthywithspence is a wellness-lifestlye Instagram page that has reached an audience of millions of people around the world. I create all of my own content from original healthier baking recipes to informational videos to provide inspiration for happier, healthier living. I have also created a TikTok platform to expand my brand (@spencerlacey).I have worked with numerous brands in both paid and gifted campaigns. Some of the brands I have collaborated with include Trader Joe's, Athleta, Cosori Cookware, Fabletics, Cinnabon, Chamberlain Coffee, Walmart, Winky Lux, Hilma, Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha, Abbot's, Kreation Juice, Feel Good Foods, Enlightened Ice Cream, and Blume.I have also started creating user-generated content for wellness, fashion, beauty, and food brands. I've created content for numerous brands, including a campaign for Cirkul water bottle in which I created content that reached over 1.1 million people globally to support their brand's expansion. I have managed the social media presences for brands including Regardless Podcast, Pareto Clothing, Energy Works Wisdom Healing, and Habiza Hummus.I also create cakes for brands-- either a physical cake for an in-person event, or a "content cake" that consists of a video making a custom cake to celebrate a milestone. I shoot, edit, and produce the video from concept to final product. I have made "content cakes" for Winky Lux's blush launch, Laoban Dumplings, and Feel Good Foods.

Through opportunities offered by The Bench, I work as a production assistant on a variety of projects, most of which have been for Nike, Jordan Brand, Blue Ribbon Sports, and Nike Runs. I have assisted in event production for the rest and recovery hub after the LA Marathon, an evening celebrating the Run Club Founders across the LA area, the Blue Ribbon Sports Holiday Party, Nike's Just Do It Day for employee recognition at the LAHQ, and more. I most recently worked as a style assistant for Jordan Brand's beach photoshoot to announce the drop of a new shoe.

After working as a freelance audio and copy editor at a Voiceover production company, I started freelance producing episodes of Regardless Podcast with Skylar Sorkin. My responsibilities include editing the audio files for each episode and writing the copy for the description as I upload it to streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.I also previously helped manage the podcast's Instagram and Tiktok content. This included creating concepts for videos to promote new episodes, writing all of the copy, converting the material from each episode into digestible and marketable nuggets for social media, and editing videos of guest speakers from the podcast episodes. I utilize my proficiency in platforms such as Audacity, Anchor, Google Suite, and Riverside to edit all of the audio content, and I used Capcut, Tezza, and Notion for video production and content creation.
