I have always found the challenge of figuring out how to solve a problem or make something work exciting. I have learned a lot throughout my career and have had many unique opportunities to work across various tech stacks. Whether building a new system from the ground up or jumping into a long-running program, I find that there are always new problems to be solved. Software is essential to many businesses and needs to be done effectively. One advantage I bring with my experience is understanding the impact of poorly written software systems. Decisions today can create significant efficiency gains or hurdles in both the long and short term. I have worked on projects that have ranged from low level networking over unreliable networks and embedded programming to full stack app and web development.I have worn many hats. While I enjoy coding, I have had to perform many devops tasks to manage severs, automate builds and automate deployments. Producing a software product involves many tasks other than writing code.
