Design and manufactured new tooling and equipment. Used 3D printers for rapid prototyping and new model tooling. Conducted cycle time studies and evaluated process cost. Completed Kaizen activities and VEC improvements. Took lead on all evaluation material for upper management.

Worked as the lead project engineer for multiple SxS and ATV suspension projects. Led meetings with production engineering, quality assurance, procurement, sales and production control. Redesigned excel sheets to incorporate more formulas to streamline tasks to reduce time. Made and updated schedules to track the progress of various new models and kept all teams up to date on evaluations and builds. Worked with suppliers to track part deliveries and to negotiate faster delivery times when needed. Supported PE in various new model builds. This included pulling parts and doing sub-assembly, and running machines on the assembly line.

Worked in a fast-paced environment designing fire protection systems. Took lead and oversaw every step of multiple projects from design to closeouts. Hydraulic analysis proficient, able to identify the most efficient and acceptable solution for various systems and layouts. Worked directly with architects, superintendents, and project managers to coordinate designs and construction projects, went to weekly progress meetings, and attended pre-installation schedule meetings. Surveyed existing buildings and existing sprinkler systems, went to job sites to track progress, and to help on-site fitters. Used AutoCAD and Revit to design permit drawings that followed NFPA codes or insurance companies' requirements. Submitted permit drawings to multiple different cities and jurisdictions. Completed equipment submittals and closeout documents. Completed change orders requests, filled out MROs, made stocklists for fabrication and ordered materials for projects.

Preformed pressure testing, patched concrete, and started pool systems. Helped with diagnosing problems with heaters and pool pumps based on the customers issues they had with the equipment.

Learned about providing excellent customer service and how to communicate effectively with customs by fulfilling their needs from understanding their communicated problems. I was also managing inventory, stocking shelves, conducting water level tests, and building floor models, all while staying knowledgeable on products and chemicals to assist customers.

Worked alongside a team of other workers to build in-ground pools, run wires, lay rebar, and performed other job site tasks.
