My drive to understand effective leadership informed my choice to complete a Master's program in Leadership and Organizational Psychology at Business International, a triple-accredited business school in Oslo, Norway. My current role as a Senior Human Resources Representative at Saint Francis Health System, a locally owned and governed organization in Tulsa, OK. With about 10,500 employees, Saint Francis has provided an excellent environment for me to build on my HR expertise as I work alongside exemplary leaders that demonstrate what effective leadership looks like in practice. My role at Saint Francis draws upon my communication skills both written and spoken, as I coordinate New Employee Orientation, when I conduct interviews in the course of investigations, and when I advise departmental managers on HR matters. My goal is to find to find opportunities to develop and exercise my leadership skills at a managerial level in Human Resources. Towards this goal, I am expanding my knowledge base in US labor law while learning best Human Resources practices as I complete the SHRM certification process.
