Spencer is the founder and principal of Cordtsen Design Architecture, an award-winning architecture firm specializing in high end and luxury residential design as well as the hospitality, medical and commercial sectors. His roster of legacy clients includes successful developers, restaurateurs and business owners who call on and trust Cordtsen Design Architecture for all new endeavors.Originally from Wisconsin, Spencer interned for 4 years with an architecture firm in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area before moving to Rhode Island to attend Roger Williams University, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture. He has been practicing architecture in Rhode Island since 1996, first with Newport Collaborative Architects, and then launching his own firm, Cordtsen Design Architecture in 2009. As of 2023, CDA employs a team of 17 architects, designers and support staff, all carefully chosen for their experience, talent and core values.Spencer is currently a registered architect in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, and Florida, and is a member of both AIA and NCARB. He is also a member of C12, a Christian CEO Peer Advisory organization.
