Achievements:- Was promoted to senior management accountant in Jul-­07 and systems & controls supervisor in Jan-­13. - For each client designed, implemented and operated end-to-end systems. Timely and accurate accounts and sound financial management meant in Nortons Group I tripled my portfolio.- Designed and implemented a training course on COSO internal controls. Process mapped and documented all the internal controls on financial accounting and payroll.- A key client was having problems with the reporting of its Swiss subsidiary. My successful troubleshooting of the Swiss entity enabled group to retain £85,000 of revenue per year.- In 2009 I advised my client to convert their EUR1 million bank balances to GBP. This has made them a saving of GBP180k.- Automated the P11D benefit in kind reporting process. The new process did not require reference to original expenses. This increased profitability by £20k per year.- For a distance selling client I automated the VAT processes. The new process involved one copy and paste and was fully audit-able. This increased profitability by £8k per year.

Business partner for £2 million government early education project:Achievements- My team work in this team of non-financial professionals led me to take on a full business partner role focusing on operational as well as financial metrics.- Introduced a balance scorecard for monitoring the project to the board, giving the board a clear overall picture of project progress.- Reaching ethnic groups in our area was strategic. I researched the mobile internet market predicting the rise of the smart phone in a report we published and came up with an innovative mobile payments concept. Left Wood to pursue this mobile payment project.
