Served as program manager for the Air Force Portal (AFP), an enterprise level, globally utilized Air Force application with 430,000+ unique visitors annually across the USAF. Efficiently managed program’s cost, schedule, and performance; program strategy; effort prioritization; and contract renewal efforts.Led team of 15 cross-functional personnel across military, civilian, and contractor roles for continuous delivery of updates, content management, and program security.Met and collaborated often with members of industry and stakeholders of various levels to find areas and opportunities for improvement across the program.- Created a highly communicative and collaborative environment, enabling programmatic success through consistent, timely product delivery, and diligent attention to security. - Facilitated changing the application’s search engine, saving the program ~$250,000/year in license costs.- Generated strategic plan for a complete redesign of the AFP application, including front-end “look and feel,” new and existing functionality to be included, and ways forward to achieve said goal.- Modified access criteria for “foreign national” (non-US military member) access, expanding the user base and improving accessibility.- Received HNII’s Unsung Hero award for improving operational efficiency and financial stability of Air Force Portal program.

Performed development on Air Force Medical Omnibus Web Applications Pool(AFMOWAP) suite of applications. This is a family of five applications used by the Air Force Medical community to manage information in direct support of active Air Force units, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserves, and deployed locations during both peace and wartime operations.- Utilizing agile methodology: participated in Sprint planning, daily Scrum, and retrospective meetings; produced effort values for User Stories; provided task assessment inputs; and documented Sprint activity in Azure DevOps.- Responsible for secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of user bases.

Functioned as interim Sr. Systems Engineer, providing continuous mission support to the base’s Network Control Center. Was responsible for various high-availability systems (both physical and virtual) utilized base-wide, maintenance of Continuity of Operations Planning (CoOP) site, and leadership of small teams for multiple efforts.- Spearheaded project to perform network shutdown. Delegated core responsibilities to cross-functional teams, educating them of proper procedures, resulting in successful completion of necessary upgrades.- Developed positive working relationships with upper management and government/military customers.- Received letter of commendation for assuming responsibilities of Sr. Systems Engineer, Server Admin, and Database Admin during time of need, as well as assisting in correction of base-wide share drive outage.

Performed front-end development on athletics websites for small colleges, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with minor Photoshop use. This included development within the Bootstrap framework, implementation of several modules, development of the mobile websites, and documentation of work on individual tickets. Also performed work on back-end services using PHP.
