I supported Rockwell Automation's motion control business by building out architecture and application code for an automated test suite for their Kinetix product lines. I re-engineered the monolith design into smaller modules to support the validation of additional product lines that were not originally in scope. I also improved the API that test engineers use to write firmware tests and produced a roadmap for future enhancements.

I completed a full implementation cycle for a manufacturing execution system for a national beverage manufacturer. I developed an application in Python that integrates ERP, manufacturing data, and an autonomous delivery system on the Ignition platform.I also did R&D work on an initiative to offer a standardized software solution platform to clients. It used Docker, k8s, Linux (Ubuntu), Python, and the AWS ecosystem to bring cloud computing to an under-utilized market.

I worked with Alex Smith and the Zavala Research Group on the application of topological data analysis (TDA) to molecular dynamics simulations. We showed that the Euler Characteristic is a useful low-dimensional descriptor of molecular dynamics analysis.

Our research goal was to investigate and identify a novel catalyst for use in a hydrogen fuel cell as a next-generation alternative energy source. I synthesized cobalt-based aerobic oxidation catalysts, performed ICP analysis of catalyst metal content, and did kinetic studies of catalyst performance in shaker tests.
